What is Adobe ID or Adobe account?
Your Adobe ID is the same as your email address. To keep all of your Adobe plans and products associated with a single account, use the same Adobe ID. An Adobe ID is required when purchasing Adobe products and is required for a secure and personalized experience with Adobe apps and services. And, yes, you do require it.
How to make an Adobe account
You can create an account in two ways: with your email address or with a social account (Google, Facebook, or Apple).
Create an Adobe account using a social account
1. Go to https://account.adobe.com
2. Select Create an account.
3. Choose your preferred social media account (Apple, Google, or Facebook).
If your social account is linked to a phone number, you’ll be prompted to enter an email address when you create an account. This email address is then connected to your account.
4. Set up your account by following the onscreen instructions.

Try the Account Access app now that your account is configured. It enables you to check in to your Adobe account quickly and securely without having to enter your password.
How to change the email address associated with the Adobe ID
If you entered an invalid email address or if you want to use a different primary email address, you might want to alter the email address linked to your Adobe account.
If you made your Adobe account using a social account, you cannot modify the email address.
1. Sign in at https://account.adobe.com/profile.
2. In the Account information section, select Change next to Primary email.
3. Verify the new main email address you want to use for your Adobe ID. You receive an email from Adobe notifying you of the change.
How to manage multiple Adobe accounts
When you buy a new product or service from Adobe, make sure to always use the same account (email address or social media account). If you believe you have more than one account, you can deactivate the extra accounts and keep just one.
Sign in to your account and verify your account details if you are unsure of which email address is connected to your membership or a purchased item.
Why is it important to change your password?
Because your computers contain a lot of sensitive and important data, keeping work data secure is a top priority. One security tip for computer users is to change their passwords frequently, but it may not always be clear why you must do something so inconvenient so frequently. Changing your password protects you from a variety of threats, including some that are less obvious, such as what happens to passwords saved on computers you no longer own.
Prevent constant access
Not all hackers take what they require and then leave. Hackers may occasionally continue to access your account, either to monitor your data or to steal information over time. It can be difficult to determine if someone else is using your account, so changing your password on a regular basis reduces the likelihood that others will have frequent access to your accounts. To be safe, consider changing your password every few months.
Prevent saved password abuse
If you share computers with others or dispose of old computers without reformatting the hard drive, anyone who uses your old computer may have access to your saved passwords. Giving someone access to your accounts means giving them access to your computer with saved passwords. If you consistently change your passwords, even if someone discovers an old password of yours, it will no longer be relevant or useful.
Reasons to change an Adobe password
It is critical to keep your company’s Adobe ID secure. The large amount of personal information stored in your personal profile may lead to identity theft in the wrong hands, making malicious attacks on or from your business page possible, which could harm your company’s reputation. A strong password is the first line of defense, and updating your password on a regular basis can keep your account safe. Updating your password is quick and easy, and you can do it from the Adobe “Account Settings” page.
